- Color is Antique Brown (39).
- This is the classic tapestry canvas in antique brown made of quadruple-polished threads, and, thus, of the finest quality.
- 10/20 count per inch canvas - also known as 10/20 mesh per inch.
- Penelope is a double-thread plain-woven canvas, except the spaces between the mesh threads are not equal. Instead, it has two threads packed close together forming a stable woven checker pattern made up of two warp threads and two weft threads. The opening between the threads is clear. If the stitcher uses the large holes, the canvas is 10 count. If the stitcher uses the small holes, it is a 20 count. Both can be used in the same project, allowing for finer detail when desired and the larger holes used when filling in the background.
- This is a strong canvas and is ideal for upholstery, purses, and other items that get heavy use.
- Canvas has a rigid finish.

- If necessary canvases should only be carefully washed by hand or dry cleaned after the stitching is completed. The rigid finish of the canvas will be lost when in contact with water, thus becoming softer. Note that when washing, care instructions of all the stitching materials/wools/floss need to be taken into consideration. The canvas can be blocked back into a rectangular shape afterwards.

Note that this product is best shipped rolled.
For larger pieces of 1 metre and more, there can be extra shipping charges for oversize parcels. In these instances, we would contact you for additional funds.
If you request smaller pieces be folded, we can do our best with an easy-over fold, but cannot guarantee that you will be as pleased as if it was sent rolled. In this instance, the risk is yours and we will not provide a refund or replacement.
