Metric vs. Imperial Measurements
We are a Canadian store and sell in metric measurements.
Since you may order on our webstore in metric decimal increments of .25, .375, .5, .625, .75, .875, and 1, here are these conversions to imperial measurements:
1 meter = 39.37" (so you see a meter is 9.3% or 3.37" larger than a yard!)
.875 meter = 34.45" (the nearest measurement to 7/8 yard)
.75 meter = 29.53" (the nearest measurement to 3/4 yard)
.625 meter = 24.61" (the nearest measurement to 5/8 yard)
.5 meter = 19.68" (the nearest measurement to 1/2 yard)
.375 meter = 14.76" (the nearest measurement to 3/8 yard)
.25 meter = 9.84" (the nearest measurement to 1/4 yard)
We are also happy to cut and sell Canadian-sized fat quarters of our standard-width quilting cottons. A Canadian-sized fat quarter is larger than an American fat quarter, as it is cut .5 meter by half the width of fabric. So it is approx. 19.68" x 21". An American-sized fat quarter is cut 18" by half the width of the fabric. Please contact us at email@example.com or phone 1-877-745-6445 for our current pricing on fat quarters.

Ordering from our Website
You may place orders directly through our website, which is simple, convenient, and secure. All orders are processed manually (not automatically through a third-party payment processor), and your credit card is not charged until the order is filled and shipping and handling have been calculated and added.
If you prefer to talk to a person and place your order, you may call us during store hours at our toll-free number of 1-877-745-6445. Sometimes this is the best way to place an order if you have questions regarding quantities, matching fabrics, or availability of products not shown on the website. If we are unable to answer the phone, or if you call outside of our normal hours of operation, please leave a message, and we will call you back.
You may also print out our Order Form (available in the listing at the bottom of our web page), complete it, and fax it to (403)873-0707.
Please note that orders are processed manually (the charge does not go through your card electronically at the time you place the order). Charges are made once we have your order packaged, and all shipping and tax charges have been determined.
You may pay with MasterCard or Visa credit cards, or PayPal. Debit cards, including those issued by Visa or MasterCard, cannot be accepted.
If you select PayPal as a payment method, there is no "pop-up" screen for PayPal at the time you place your order. Instead, when your order has been packaged and shipping and tax charges have been determined, a PayPal invoice will be sent to the email address you provide in your order. As well, an email will be sent to you to notify you of this.
Please note, that you do not have to have a PayPal account to use PayPal. Selecting PayPal allows you to pay with your Visa or MasterCard credit or debit cards, Amex, or Discover. If you have an account with PayPal you can also pay directly from your bank account.
Money orders and personal cheques are not accepted.
If you do not wish to provide your credit card number during checkout, please select "Call Me" as your payment option, and we will phone you for your Visa or Mastercard credit card number.
All items in the store are sold in Canadian dollars. If you live outside of Canada, your credit card company will automatically do the conversion on the payment, and it will show in your country's currency on your statement. To get an idea of the conversion, refer to this conversion website: www.xe.com/ucc/
Canadian Customers: All purchases are subject to the current GST tax. The tax is not included in the price shown on the website or on the labels of the items in store. While Alberta does not have a provincial or harmonized sales tax, we must follow law and charge the provincial taxes when applicable and shipping out of province to our Canadian customers.
U.S. Customers: We will not be charging any state taxes on your shipment as we are a Canadian company. Taxes will be your responsibility according your state's requirements. Your order will pass through customs. You are allowed $800US duty free each day.
International Customers: We will not be charging any taxes on your shipment as we are a Canadian company. Taxes will be your responsibility according your country's requirements. Your order will pass through customs. You are solely responsible for all taxes, duties, or tariffs charged.
Maybe you'd like to send a "hint" to a special someone about an upcoming special occasion, or you would like to make a list of your favorite items for future shopping. Or perhaps you'd like to share with your friend some of the neat things you've found. The "Wish List" function is easy to use for these purposes!
1. Select the items you want on your shopping cart, select Save Cart "Wish List".
2. Enter your e-mail address and the e-mail address of the person you want to send it to, along with a message. Click the Save/Send Cart button.
3. The contents of your cart will be saved with an ID number that will be e-mailed to both of you.
4. Return to www.alongcamequilting.com and click on View Cart near the top of the page. Then click the Retrieve Cart button.
5. Insert the wish list ID number from the e-mail, and the contents will re-appear!
Return Policy on Website Purchases
We are committed to providing excellent customer service and top quality products. If you are not satisfied with our products or service, please let us know. If your order has been damaged or contains an incorrect item, please contact us immediately so that we may proceed with taking remedial action.
Due to copyright laws, we cannot accept returns of books, patterns, magazines, and DVD's.
Cut fabric is non-refundable.
Other items may be returned at your shipping expense, they must be in original packaging, and in new, unused condition. A 20% re-stocking fee will be applied.
Shipping and handling will not be refunded.
