She was kind enough to suggest alternatives to the SewEzi even though she may have been forfeiting potential business. As a retiree and widow living in Aurora, Ontario, that is moving from a house to a condo, I was looking for a solution to where I could use my Bernina 770QEE to embroider in a much smaller space without disturbing residents around me. I found the perfect backing fabric online for my current project online. My order was shipped promptly and arrived within a week. The colors in the fabric were very accurate in the online photo.

Online shopping is a bit difficult. I entered 2 metres of a fabric but in the cart it separated it into 2 different amounts (which did total 2m) so that was odd. Finding where to enter a gift card was difficult. I had soneone help me and we still couldnt find it. It took the shop owner helping us to finally get it. The physical shop itself is lovely. Would be nice if I could have redeemed my gift card in the shop instead as choosing fabric online is not the same as in person.
Thanks so much for coming in and shopping with us. Just to clarify, there are 2 kinds of gift cards we sell - online and instore. One cannot be swapped for the other. An online gift card (the type you were given), can only be used for online shopping. An in-store gift card can only be used for in-store shopping. Our online system is not hooked up to our instore register so we cannot redeem an online gift card for purchases at the till. So to use your online gift card, your order had to come in and be processed through our online store. I imagine that the person buying you the online gift card thought that since you live out of town, it would be the best one to gift you. They probably didn't know that you would be coming to the store to shop and would want to redeem it after choosing your fabric in person.
Yes, the 2 m of fabric was separated on the online order into 2 separate entries (which still totalled 2 m). This is due to the fact that you chose the free panel offered at the time for over $50 of fabric purchases. This is simply how the online shopping platform handles the redemption for the panel, and in no way affects your purchase. We have no ability to change this on the back end. However, you still receive one continuous piece of 2 m of fabric and the free panel. This is explained on the product description for the free panel so customers are not taken by surprise.

I needed a binding fabric and didn't have enough of the border fabric, so searched for a close match on Along Came Quilting. I ordered what looked close and I couldn't have gotten a closer match. My experience ordering on line was efficient, and the shipment came quickly.
