Along Came Quilting has always been my go-to store for my sewing needs. I was so pleased when they started carrying supplies for cross-stitching, as now I can get even more of my crafting supplies there. I purchased this kit online and their communication was excellent and delivery was prompt. The kit is high quality and I can't wait to start it. I have already referred several of my cross-stitch friends to Along Came Quilting for their own shopping needs. I love this store- they are always so helpful and have everything I need (and some things I didn't know I needed until I saw it!).

I ordered vinyl mesh the week before Christmas and was anticipating a long wait for my order due to the holidays and shipping to the US from Canada but I received my order with a week and it was exactly as pictured

If you are doing a project or looking for a project, this is the place to go. The ladies are very helpful and they have such a very good variety of fabrics and kits. It is totally worth visiting. I love this store very much.

Great service for pick up at store

I have lived in Calgary for many years, but only recently discovered this beautiful store. On boy am I every going to be in trouble. It sure is my new favourite little place. The sure have beautiful fabrics there. I placed my first online order and from start to finish the process was easy and simple. I would not hesitate to use this service again. Although I did order and pickup since Canada Post was on strike.

Good morning Ladies, I have not received my fabric order. The tracking says that it is in Etobicoke but it missed its connection on Dec 9th! I have tried to chat but it is a robot and does not understand my questions. Can you help?

Sharon is so wonderful. Like many others, I was on a hunt for fabric to piece a “Crimson Christmas “ quilt. Sharon is friendly, efficient and quickly pulled together most of the pieces I was looking for. The background fabric I was looking for was on reorder status. Sharon promptly notified me so I could obtain my last piece. Anytime I have made purchases in person in the shop I have been met with friendly helpful employees, however when my son came in after work to pick up my fabric purchased on line he was meet with a delayed and unfriendly attention. It was not Sharon.

There are several quilt stores in Calgary, each with it’s own "flavour" or focus. Along Came Quilting has long been my first-to-go to store for all. things quilty. They carry a vast selection of fabrics, including batiks in every colour and lots of Kaffe and so many other fabrics. My current favorite fabric for backings is Fireside, and ACQ has it in every colour. The store also carries any notions you could possibly need/want, numerous panels and kits, and a good selection of books.
I’ve taken several courses there too, including some on pictoral and portrait quilting with Roxanne Nelson, (who is awesome, btw!) There is a separate classroom area that, if not being used for a class, is often available for Quilt-Alongs for a very reasonable fee. Sometimes I’ll meet a girlfriend there and we’ll spend the day sewing and chatting, together and with whoever else is there.
The staff of ACQ are very nice women, who are knowledgable, competent, experienced, and approachable. In my experience, they have been very helpful and I always enjoy my time in the store .

Great help when I phone in searching for a product. Very willing to accommodate most requests.

I have really appreciated the help I’ve had both in the store and when I’ve ordered online. The fabric selection is wonderful but it’s really the friendly help with fabric selection, the knowledge of what’s in the store and where it is that have made it all go so well. I’ve appreciated the phone calls to consult when something I’ve asked for is not available and the emails suggesting another fabric. I just couldn’t ask for better.
