Description
The Lap App is a small adjustable lap table which provides a rest for hands making it ideal for appliqué and handwork as well as tracing, marking, and small ironing tasks. Used by Sarah Fielke for her hand applique work.
- Helps reduce fatigue in neck, shoulders, arms, and back.
- The top surface can be adjusted in multiple directions: up/down, forward/backward, flat/slant.
- Surface measures 12" x 8", height can be adjusted from 4" - 8".
- Handcrafted of natural pine and Baltic birch woods. Surface is sanded but does not have a finish applied.
- Weighs approximately 1lb. 14oz.
- Star Knobs for easy adjustment. Under the cover is a non-slip surface for tracing and marking quilt pieces.
- Three spindles for thread storage.
- Strong magnet is provided in the base to be used as a pin, needle, or small scissor minder.
- Included 100% cotton cover comes in various prints and is removable and washable. Let us choose one for you - as each Lap App has a different cover. The one shown in the picture is not available.
- Elasticized cover features a pocket for storing scissors, seam rippers, or other small tools.
- Includes a sewing pattern to make replacement covers or an ironing cover.
- Collapses for travel to 4" depth. There is no need for disassembly.
