Description

  • Replacement Featherweight LED Light Bulb - 110 Volt.
  • Choose which light color you want when placing your order.  If you prefer the light similar to an incandescent bulb, then the Warm light would be the option to choose.
  • Push-in style fits all Singer Featherweight machines as well as many other vintage Singer models.
  • This LED bulb will never get hot enought to burn you.  If you have one of the original incandescent light bulbs, you know how hot they get.  
  • LED bulbs are designed to last for thousands of hours.  However, to keep them from failing due to mini power surges and shorts common in vintage machines, ensure you keep your machine plugged into a surge protector at all times (this should be something you do with all your sewing machines).
  • These bulbs are 110 Volt.  They will not work in a 220 volt sewing machine, even if you have a converter to enable it to work in North America. 
  • Contains 80 LEDS.  2400 LUX.
  • This bulb will fit the following models:  Singer 15, 99, 201, 221, 221J, 221K, 222K, 301, 306, 401, 403, 404, and 500.  Fits perfectly in the Black and Tan and White Featherweights, too! 

  • NOTE:  Each bulb has a silicone covering, making it easier for your fingers to grab, so you can insert the new bulb into the socket without having to touch the tiny lights. (Because just having small sheets of light diodes would be pretty awkward to hold when pushing and turning for insertion into the socket.) 

    Due to the silicone covering, when removing the bulb from the little packaging (or even when inserting the bulb into the socket) a tiny nick on the silicone from a fingernail sometimes occurs.  This is common and it doesn’t hurt the bulb function.  Actually, if this occurs, it means that the silicone actually did what it was designed to do by protecting those LEDs. So, go ahead and put the new bulb into your socket and as long as it lights up brightly, go ahead and begin sewing and enjoy your new bright light!

  • These LED bulbs can be a bit tricky to install. It is best to set your machine on end on a soft towel or blanket. Push and twist left to remove old bulb then push and twist right to install the new bulb.
