Description
- You can display many quilts on this stylish 6-rung ladder made of solid fine wood of walnut, cherry, or maple. (This is the actual type of wood used - walnut, cherry, or maple; it is not a finish colour.)
- Wood is finished smooth, but not glossy.
- Made locally by a woodworking artisan.
- Approximately 30 1/2" wide X 82" tall when constructed.
- This item will be made for you when you place the order – we do not carry stock on hand. However, the turn-around time is usually 1-2 weeks.
- Please specify in the Order Instructions your preference of wood: walnut (dark brown), cherry (medium warm tones and best choice for matching oak or teak decors), or maple (lightest). Please see the picture of three racks showing the different woods, as well as the image of labelled wood chips. Note that walnut wood lightens and cherry wood darkens as it ages. There is also a great variation in walnut wood, and some rungs may differ in how light/dark they are to each other (again, please refer to images).
- If you are picking up this item at the store, it will be provided assembled in 2 parts, allowing it to fit in a vehicle. If it will be shipped, it will be unassembled.
Shipping: The pieces will be tightly foamed in a large plywood box that is screwed shut. This wooden box is large and heavy and due to the price of wood, we are charged a crate fee for it. As such, we will be charging actual shipping and crate costs that cannot be known until shipping is calculated with our carriers based on your location. The item does not qualify for free shipping. A base charge will be authorized to your card, and either adjusted down for the overage, or a request for further payment will be made if needed.
