Installing Your Thread Stand
Our improved thread path keeps your thread securely in place, whether you're using a spool on top or a cone at the back.

While most Featherweights welcome our Thread Stand perfectly, we understand that these beloved machines can vary slightly. If you find the fit needs adjusting, try these tips:
Too snug?Gently customize the base using a nail file or 100-grit sandpaper
Too loose?Add stability with heat-shrink rubber tubing (available at hardware stores)

Refund Policy for Online Purchases
We are committed to providing excellent customer service and top quality products. If you are not satisfied with our products or service, please let us know. If your order has been damaged or contains an incorrect item, please contact us immediately so that we may proceed with taking remedial action.
Due to copyright laws, we cannot accept returns of books, patterns, magazines, and DVD's.
Cut goods (batting, interfacing, fabric, etc.), sale items, SewEzi acrylic table inserts, special/custom ordered items, and gift certificates are non-refundable.
Other items may be returned within 30 days at your shipping expense. They must be in original, un-opened packaging, and in new, unused condition. A 20% re-stocking fee will be applied to cover the staff time to process the order and the merchant fees charged, which are unrecoverable.
To start a return, you can contact us at askus@alongcamequilting.com. Please provide a cell phone number. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. You are responsible for the shipping costs and proper packaging of the returned item. We recommend you purchase tracking and insurance on your return parcel, as we won't provide refunds for items in a parcel that does not arrive back at our store.
Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be refunded the value of the item minus a 20% re-stocking fee to your original payment method. Shipping and handling will not be refunded.
It should be noted that this refund policy applies to all online orders - including those picked up at our store. They must be refunded through the Shopify system; they cannot be refunded through our front counter till. They will be subjected to the same policies and restocking fees as a mail order.
Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
My friend who has family in Calgary picked up my order. I have never been to the store, much as I would live to visit. I could not find the book and papers that I wanted here on Vancouver Island so I was delighted to get them from you. I follow your Thursday talks and your Tuesday tips and love seeing new fabrics.
