During the rise of the popularity of quilting in the 1980's, they shifted their focus to the cotton quilt fabric market. You may recognize them with the tag line, “cottons that feel like silk”. Their fine cotton prints with a silky hand can be found in quilt and craft shops around the world. They are known for their superior quality, and it is in the quilting world they have built a name and established themselves as a leader in quality and designs. Designers they carry are Patrick Lose, Linda Ludovico, Deborah Edwards, Melanie Samra, Stephanie Brandenburg, Patti Carey, Racquel Martindale, Cerrito Creek Studio, and many others. They carry a wide range of basics that quilters have come to know and love, including Toscana, Canvas, Stonehenge, and Colorworks. Northcott proudly supports Quilts of Valour in Canada, and the Quilts of Valor Foundation in the USA.
