I have been to this shop several times. This time I drove myself and it was easy! Lots of parking! The folks who work here are lovely , kind, knowledgeable and helpful! I cannot recall her name (she’s tallish and has long hair) helped me with the dreaded directional fabric AND coordinated shipping my purchases to Whitehorse . Online shopping is also easy. love this shop.

I bought a selection of hockey fabric to bring home to Whitehorse. All coordinating. My grandma friend is over the moon with the fabric and planning her Christmas quilts.

My first adventure towards a Dresden plate was with a cereal box template. It worked except I kept cutting bits off. This one will be much more sturdy. Can’t wait to try it. It’s easy to see the numbers.

I was out of a fabric that is required for a Bali Wedding quilt I am working on. I sent them a fabric sample and asked if they could match it as close as possible. To my surprise, they had just received a fabric shipment and there it was, perfect match. Thanks to all of the staff who went on the hunt for me. It was greatly appreciated. Now I can finish my project.

I really wanted to get the Lap App for the amount of hand stitching work that I do but it was not easy to find this product in Canada. Along Came Quilting not only had what I was looking for but was able to offer me a choice of fabric covers and the price was less than I had seen it at some other shops. The Lap App was shipped out quickly and came really well wrapped and boxed so it was in perfect condition when it arrived in Ontario.

I love this Lap App. My hands and wrists don't get as tired when I am stitching and it keeps everything so handy. I highly recommend this product if you are doing appliqué or English Paper Piecing.

The colors are perfect to match the majority of my fabrics. I find it does well for English paper piecing. Easy to thread into a needle. I like the convenience of having a pack of colors instead of always needing to buy separately. This way i only need to purchase the ones i use most later on.

My order was quickly filled and sent to me. It was wrapped in plastic and I had a surprise treat of a pen with the store logo. Definitely a positive experience.
